About NEC
NEC prides itself on the care given to their customers' interests and concerns. In order to meet all the manufacturing, service, and erection needs of any job, NEC has the following equipment on site: milling machines, shapers, sanders, metal breaks, routers, shears, punches, vinyl plotters, hot stampers, screen burners, photopolymer processors, welding machines, paint mixing systems, paint rooms, a neon manufacturing plant, building overhead cranes and 55', 65', 77', 100' and 130' truck cranes.
NEC also uses a variety of computer programs to aid in our design and manufacturing. This is the most modern equipment available and gives NEC a definite edge in the manufacturing business.
The total number of employees working for NEC is 78. Nine of them work in the Administrative Department, five of them are salespeople, five are stationed at Houston Intercontinental Airport, two are designers, and the remaining fifty-seven are shop and maintenance employees. Among the staff, there is a Structural Engineer and Mechanical Engineer degree. Also on staff is a licensed Commercial Art Master Sign Electrician and Master Electrician.
