Sherman H. Hink, P.E.

Sherman H. Hink, P.E., is the CEO and Chairman of Neon Electric Corporation. Mr. Hink, a Houstonian, received a degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1951 and is a registered Structural Engineer. He served two years in the 11th Airborne Division and was honorably discharged as a first Lieutenant in 1953. Between 1953 and 1962, he worked with several Houston construction companies in various phases of engineering, design and marketing. In 1962, he joined NEC as vice president of sales and structural design. IN 1972, he purchased the firm from its owner and has been president since that time. He is well known for the award winning Gulf Oil rotating sign that reigned over the Houston sky for many years. NEC has been a family owned business since 1946 and Mr. Hink is committed to keeping the business family owned and operated to assure the best products and services to meet their clients' needs.
